We are currently working with locals to bring you up to the minute information on classes, health screenings, recreational opportunites and trips that will enhance your life.
Giles County Senior Center
Located at 1320 Wenonah Ave, Pearisburg, VA 24134 the Giles County Senior Center is available to any Giles County resident at least 50 years of age. The purpose of the Senior Center is to provide social, recreational and educational opportunities to our senior citizens.
During the day, seniors are invited to come by the Center and participate in regularly scheduled activities as well as extra programs added each month. Regularly scheduled activities include:

Quilting Group every Monday-10:00 a.m.

Puzzles & Games every 1st and 4th Tuesday-1:30 p.m.

Bridge every Wednesday-1:00 p.m.

Crafts every Thursday-1:30 p.m.

Giles AARP #445 every 1st Friday-12:30 p.m.

Celco Retiree group
The New River Valley Agency on Aging Nutrition Program meets every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is for senior citizens who need to socialize and gather for an informational or recreational program followed by lunch. Those wishing to participate must make application with the Agency on Aging.
Transportation is provided to the Center for anyone that is want to come and does not have transportation. You will need to call a head of time so arrangements can be made.
The Senior Center presents a comfortable atmosphere with newspapers and magazines for reading, and always someone to talk with. Join us for great times together!
